Question Log Location

Hi,

I would like to find out where the system will display the server was shutdown due to power fluctuation.

I have check the command errpt and alog -o -t boot |more but not getting the requred information.
Code:
alog -o -t boot command is not showing the time

unless you don't clear the errpt, a shutdown due to power problems is logged there

configured syslog also logs this event
see /etc/syslog.conf if it's configured

and if the server has a hmc connection, you'll also see this in the hmc event log

Thanks funksen for reverting back, I have checked the output of errpt command errpt -a command but in that id does not showing any error message related to power shutdown.

Power shutdown / power fluctuation was abnormal.

What makes you think your system was shutdown because of a power problem? What are you seeing in the errpt output around the time of the issue?
