How to install a specific OS Patch

Hello everyone:


I want to install oracle in AIX 6.1, however the installer requires some patches (IZ41855, IZ51456 and IZ52319) I've downloaded the fixes but I don't know which specific filesets contain the patches I need, how could I determine this?

If you entered at the fix central the APAR numbers, it should only present you all the filesets needed. So my guess is you got all the filesets needed. You usually have to install them all.
Make sure that you do not commit but just apply the updates and als save the former files. In that case you can revert the update to the former level if anything goes wrong.

Easiest might also be to just path AIX 6.1 to the latest level. This usually includes the single fixes:
