I am using Solaris 10, and trying to keep a number of old Sun
workstations running.
Since version 17 of firefox, I have had problems using pkgadd,
and had to use tar to un-archive the components of firefox.
Is this just a problem with firefox (and probably thunderbird),

Firefox keeps on crashing every time I try to run it. I tried to create a new profile with no luck. When I try to open up the profile manager firefox crashes. I try install firefox on AIX 6.1..
Now i get error then write /usr/bin/firefox command in ssh:

I heard, that need set DISPLAY or smth like that..

I have edited /etc/inittab to auto login as root in level 3
and edited .bash_profile to auto start x window
I would like to auto start a firefox browser after go into x window.
I tried to add "firefox" in /etc/rc.d/rc.local but no effects.
Anyone have suggestion?
