Trying to get the IP address of the HMC connected to some servers running AIX 6 and 7. I thought this would be as easy as running 'lsrsrc IBM.MCP IPAddresses', but when I run that command, the resource is empty. I am trying to update Samba on my AIX 7.1 system as there is an issues with it, the smbd process coredumps and I have had no luck figuring it out why.

In Linux for .rpm
we can list or view the files using the command
rpm -qpl <file.rpm>
and to extract, the command is
rpm2cpio <file.rpm> | cpio -idvh
I would like to know the commands which has same functionality as above for solaris ( .pkg)
