AIX 5.3 with Dell PV132T
Dear all,
I would like to connect Dell Libraries 132T to AIX server. After connected and ran cfgmgr command ,I can see only tape drive but libraries doesn't.

I've updated atape to latest version but look likes atape support only IBM tape libraries.
any advice

Base AIX should support it:
IBM Software Support : Tivoli : IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Supported Devices for AIX HPUX SUN WIN

What made you sure you can't see the library? No lb0 or smc0 device? No complaints from cfgmgr about missing drivers?

Hi zaxxon,

There's some message after cfgmgr command,

cfgmgr: 0514-621 WARNING: The following device packages are required
for device support but are not currently installed.
devices.scsi

I can't find smc0 or lb0 in /dev .This AIX server didn't install any backup application then where i can find TSM Driver. T_T

TSM drivers were once available from one of their plenty IBM ftp servers. You might want to checkout adsm.org for any links to their ftp site since there is awful much directories and files on them.

You could also check out if your installation medias contain the package/bundle devices.scsi.
