Dear All,

I have been running SAPPFPAR check on my SAP AIX system and I would like to know which areas as per below that needs tunings. Could someone please kindly let me know me.

Q1) Is it compulsory to implement this solutions:-
SOLUTIONS: (1) Locate shared memory segments outside of pool 10
with parameters like: ipc/shm_psize_<key> =0

SOLUTION: Increase size of shared memory pool 10
with parameter: ipc/shm_psize_10 =480000000

Q2) Does anything related to Key 10 and Key 40 that needs to be increase:-
Shared memory pools
Key: 10 Pool
Size configured.....: 60000000 ( 57.2 MB)
Size min. estimated.: 476049126 ( 454.0 MB)
Advised Size........: 480000000 ( 457.8 MB)

Key: 40 Pool for database buffers
Size configured.....: 1022000000 ( 974.7 MB)
Size min. estimated.: 1016537228 ( 969.4 MB)
Advised Size........: 1020000000 ( 972.7 MB)

Q3) Does any parameter changes required for the below:-
Total, minimum requirement.......: 3083.4 MB
Process local heaps, worst case..: 1907.3 MB
Total, worst case requirement....: 4990.8 MB

You might want to tell us which system you are using, which database you are using underneath your SAP, which versions you are using, which hardware - in other words: some details about your system.

As it is right now my crystal sphere is undergoing repair (i have answered too many threads with questions like yours using it) and i am only a beginner in clairvoyance.
