Execution permission denied

Execution permission denied
Hello everybody !

I'm trying to launch an application on a AIX server but I always have the error message :
Code:
 
ksh: ./TalendOpenStudio-linux-gtk-ppc: 0403-006 Execute permission denied.

while I have execution permission.

I put on attached item what I have done.

I have X11R6 as graphical server AND add JDK to try to launch it but still not working.

I use putty and xming to access the server, I use windows on my computer.

Any idea could be very usefull !

Hi,
you are trying to execute a Linux binary on AIX. What is the output of the command
Code:
file ./TalendOpenStudio-linux-gtk-ppc

If it doesn't look like one of these you will not be able to launch the application:
Code:
executable (RISC System/6000) or object module not stripped

or
Code:
64-bit XCOFF executable or object module not stripped

The output of the command is :

./TalendOpenStudio-linux-gtk-ppc: ELF 32-bit MSB version 1 executable PowerPC

So I can't execute it on AIX ?

is as you say :

./TalendOpenStudio-linux-gtk-x86_64: ELF 64-bit LSB version 1 executable

but I have the same error message when I try to launch it

ppc should be the right architecture, but I do not think you can execute linux executeables on AIX.
