can i get a step b syep explanation in creating LPAR... i have searched for tutorials i couldn't find the right one....

You'll need a HMC to create an LPAR. When having one, you can either just open the context menu with a right-click on the Managed System and choose "Create" or if logged in via ssh on the HMC, you can use the command mksyscfg with appropriate parameters.

There is plenty of information on the web - strange you didn't find any. Here some considerations to take into account:

I have created a new LPAR using IVM. I activated the LPAR, and start the window terminal (java), it prompt me for the padmin password. After keyin the password, it will shows BOOTP parameter.
