Question ML update error
Hi,

I have servers JS21 with oslevel 6100-00-11-0943 and now I want to update it to 6100-01-02 but am getting an error.

Code:
0503-465 installp: The build date requisite check failed for fileset     bos.rte.install.
Installed fileset build date of 0943 is more recent than the selected fileset build date of 0835.

how it is possible.

Your existing build date is week 43 2009 and you are trying to install a fix bundle dated week 35 2008, as this is older it would remove all sorts of fixes so AIX will not let you do it.

You will need to update to a fix level with a build date the same or higher than 0943 (yyww), TL1 SP7, TL2 SP6, TL3 SP3 TL4 SP2 or TL5 should do it.

Thanks for reply now I have downloaded that and now facing missing requsites. Below are the missing requisites

ML update error
Hi,

I have tried to install TL1 Sp7 but it failes for missing requisites

Code:
devices.fcp.disk.array.diag 6.1.1.0 and devices.fcp.disk.array.rte 6.1.1.0

When I tried to install 6100-01-00 for the above missing requisite I get an error

Installed fileset build date of 0920 is more recent than the selected fileset bu
ild date of 0822

my current oslevel is 6100-00-07-0846 so how do i install these missing requisites, without that I will not be able to update ML.

please suggest.
