Hello, Q1 the Aix apps server is too slow as we get the complain from the apps user. What is the best and quick solution and troubleshooting should I do?

Any unix server (not just AIX...) can slow down for many reasons. You dont give much clues....
So let me give you some
High load and especially high memory usage -> you are swapping crazy...

commands you could use?
nmon, topas, netstat, iostat vmstat, sar...
To be more precise we would need to know a bit more (OS version, how much RAM and swap, what is running, disks on SAN? etc...)

I've set up email alerts on AIX Servers. so that i can get email notifications (via mail relay server) when ever there is abnormal behavior.
for example
1) my script monitors CPU/disk/memory etc... when it reaches high water ark, it will send an email alert.
2) disk usage alerts
