reset the counter days for uptime command
hello, i send the uptime command in the AIX and the days that is UP 14652 days this is around 40 years, today is with the correct date&time, hos can I reset the counter days? somebody can help me? regards

Presumably it was originally booted up with the incorrect date set?

A reboot would fix the uptime of course.

Another possibility is that the /etc/utmp file has become corrupt.

What doe the first line of

Code:
/usr/sbin/acct/fwtmp < /etc/utmp

show?

The file is recreated at each boot, so a reboot should fix it, as said.

thanks for your answer, i now that reboot the server will fix, but i dont want to reboot, and the file is not corrupt, is there another way to reset the days?
