Hi,
I am migrating few of the shell scripts from existing SUN Solaries to AIX.
My script contains some command like 'dos2unix' and 'unix2dos' which are not compatible in AIX flavour. Please let me know if there is any such commands in AIX which can replace these commands.

:wall:hi all, as hp support pack has hpasm, hpacu command using in linux server to show and monitor hareware status.

I want to write a small script and run as cronjob sothat the script runs every four hours
The script should be capable of finding any hardware issues,panics,coredumps
if anyissues found it should sent mail.If no issues it shouldnt sent mail

I want to know which company's hardware is more stable means in term of H/W faults or replacement, in case of IBM (AIX), HP (HPUX) & SUN MICROSYSTEM (Solaris) & which order also, if we go through more stable to less stable system.
