my shell doesnt work but i didn't find why, could someone help me please !

PS : agency.txt a file with a list of all the code of agencies
day.txt = {01 02 03 ...........31}

What doesnt work - Or what do you get?

sorry i forget to talk about the error

the problem is the day is incrementing until 31 but the agency stay with "00001" and there is an error it says "cat" couldn't open "day.txt" and the shell ends.

If it cant open the file either it cant find it, either there is a permission problem with the file...
chmod 644 agency.txt

Are you sure (the file that is...)

How is agency.txt formatted ( one record /one line?)
