thx pressy .. it seems like its working , i moved the file to 10_Recommended.tar .. and extracted it ..
i started installtion of the patches ..
ill wait and check if it finishes succsesfully , thx in advance
but if u can solve the exceed problem ill b thankful

I am using the following command in a script.
cat $sql_file_path"/"${sql_file_list} | grep "ABCDE"
but it returns only exactly matching lines (ABCDE)
how can i modify this single line so it will return if it finds a matching string with any case.

If I do :
