Operating Systems Solaris Chinese characters on Sol 2.7 Post 97388 by Hayez on Monday 30th of January 2006 12:34:07 AM

I've got a bit further in that it's actually Solaris 2.8 install on the box and locale -a shows zh and zh_TW are installed on the box (Chinese and Taiwainese Chinese) so I'm slightly now optomistic.

Anyone have any suggestions on opening vi and copying and pasting the Chinese text in and saving the files as it currently doesn't seem to like the Chinese characters.

H.
