mailx -s "Subject Line" user@somewhere < /name/of/text_file

The problem is the attachment is displayed as inline text instead of a file attached to email. What should i do?
I don't have chance to install new binaries to the server (SunOS)

I only have sendmail and uuencode on a Oracle (RH) linux server.
While:
/usr/bin/uuencode awr.html awr.html | /usr/sbin/sendmail myemail@company.com
Is working fine,
the ideal for me is to do something like:

The mailto.conf file defines the local mail server and email notification preferences for CUPS.
Each line in the file can be a configuration directive, a blank line, or a comment. Comment lines start with the # character.

Specifies an additional recipient for all email notifications.

Specifies the sender of email notifications.
Sendmail sendmail command and options
Specifies the sendmail command to use when sending email notifications. Only one Sendmail or SMTPServer line may be present in the

SMTPServer servername
