Error Attn! A couple quick questions about Linux [Help]

Hi guys!! I was wondering if you can help me with a couple quick questions in order for me to understand it better... Any help would be appreciated and i would like to say thanks!! In advanced... Ok here goes... (I think these are pretty basic, but i just want to clarify)

1. What would be the maximum number of primary partitions in Linux systems (any OS)

2. How do i delete an existing partition from Linux during the installation process?

3. Can you describe the different partition types in RH or Fedora?

4. Specify the partition naming scheme for the second logical parition created on the third IDE disk.

5. How can i delete a existing partition using the fdisk tool?

6. What is the standard mount point for a swap parition?

Ok those were the questions i have about hard drives, partitions etc... on linux systems... now if you can briefly help me with some networking questions...

1. How would i assign an IP Add. of 192.168.0.12to the NIC driver, eth0?

2. How do i start HTTPd in linux CLI?

I think thats pretty much it... these are some of the tasks, and steps i was trying to accomplish earlier on my system. With some success, i came to a point where i need more advice, or the flat out answer. Thanks alot! Any help would be greatly appreciated... have a good day!
