AIX.4 New User Help

I am sure someone will yell at me over this post, but honestly I have searched. It doesn't help that I am not sure what to search on.

Little background. Working at new company, Company has a program on a Unix box AIX.4. I know virtually nothing about Unix and Neither does anyone else here Smilie

So I am working on learning along with my other job responsibilities. But learning Unix is secondary for now.

Issue is that I have been tasked with the following: Writing a DOS script that does a series of events. one of those events is to open the 'Terminal Emulator/Multiview ' window and run a pre-saved script file or a series of actions so the program can export a file which later in the script will be ftp'd and imported else where.

Is there any assistance that can be offered?

       macutil - A package that deals with MacIntosh files on a Unix system

DESCRIPTION

       macutil	is  a package that contains a number of utilities that deal with MacIntosh files on a Unix system.  It contains the following pro-
       grams:

       binhex Convert files to BinHex 4.0 compatible hexified form.

       frommac
	      Receives files from the MacIntosh on the Unix system.

       hexbin Convert hexified files to their MacIntosh format.

       macsave
	      Save a series of files from a MacBinary stream as individual files.

       macstream
	      Combine a series of files to a MacBinary stream.

       macunpack
	      Unpack a MacIntosh archive into its constituents.

       tomac  Transmits files from the Unix system to a MacIntosh.
