Hello Sir, I am a newbie. What I wanted to tell was, help in terminal run fine using the man command '"man .." runs fine. But when I try to find help using the GUI,I don't get a proper database to search .Thanks for the advice.

when i go to the terminal and i typed in "ifconfig" to get ip address, it said "command no found"
I do need to type in "/sbin/ifconfig"
Why do i need to type in /sbin?

sound-juicer [option...]
DESCRIPTION
sound-juicer is a CD ripper and player for GNOME which aims to have a simple, clean, easy to use interface. sound-juicer supports encoding
to several popular audio formats such as Ogg Vorbis and FLAC, additional formats can be added through GStreamer plugins.
For additional documentation on interactive use of sound-juicer select the Help menu option. The menus allow access to features not avail-
