getopts
Hi Jim mcnamara and friends,
I used getopts in the way you suggested. But what if i have to send two mandatory arguments to the script and the rest two as optional parameters ?
i have having problem in giving both Mandatory and optional fields at the same time to the script.
Please help.

I'm learning how to add in programm another option by command line.
For example in the "my_prog" i want to add a " -k " option and then write a number.
I mean:
my_prog -k 50
and the i should use the number 50.

Getting used to optargs, but by far not understanding it.
So i have that script that shall be 'changeable', trying to use the passed arguments to modify the script visuals.

I want to capture space as well from the argument
eg:

I am parsing using getopts, but for option "m" OPTARG is returning only "Message".

NAME
lr_environment - Export Lire configuration in shell script form
SYNOPSIS
eval `lr_environment`
DESCRIPTION
The lr_environment command is used to import the Lire configuration in Lire shell scripts.
All of Lire configuration variables will be written in a format that can be evaled by the shell.
Shell scripts don't usually have to use that command, since it is done by the defaults file sourced by each command.
The old names used by when the configuration was done in shell script are also exported by this script for backward compatibility.
