Why does this ONLY iterate on the first server in the list? It's not doing the command on all the servers in the list, what am I missing?

I have a shell script RemoveFiles.sh
Inside this file, it only has two commands as below:
rm -f ../../reportToday/temp/*
rm -f ../../report/*
My problem is that when i execute this script, nothing happened. Files remained unremoved. I don't see any error message as it... (2 Replies)

I'm going through "learning the bash shell" by newham and rosenblatt. I'm trying to ctro-O to execute and then go on to the next command in the history list, ctrl-o again, etc. (I'm just trying to get a feel for it in case I want to use it). But ctrl-o does nothing. When running MC in xterm or gnome-terminal, it doesn't seem to allow the use of Ctrl-enter and Ctr-shift-enter to copy marked files to the command line.
Does anyone know of another way to cause this to happen or a way to enable it under xterm/gnome-term?

Returns this failure:

I am using korn shell.
until ]

echo "\$# = " $#
echo "$1"
shift
done
To the above script, I passed 2 parameters and the program control doesn't enter inside "until" loop. If I change it to until ] then it does work.

These interfaces are obsoleted by ioctl(2). They are available from the compatibility library, libcompat. The stty() function sets the state of the terminal associated with fd. The gtty() function retrieves the state of the terminal associated with fd. To set the state of a terminal the call must have write permission. The stty() call is actually 'ioctl(fd, TIOCSETP, buf)', while the gtty() call is 'ioctl(fd, TIOCGETP, buf)'. See ioctl(2) and tty(4) for an explanation. DIAGNOSTICS
If the call is successful 0 is returned, otherwise -1 is returned and the global variable errno contains the reason for the failure. SEE ALSO
