Emil,

I dont think that is possible. Once a process loses its controlling terminal, you can no longer see the output that it would be sending to that terminal. A workaround would be to redirect the stdout and stderr to a file and view the file later.

NAME

       gnome-font-properties - select fonts for the desktop

SYNOPSIS

       gnome-font-properties [gnome-std-options]

DESCRIPTION

       The Font preferences tool allows you to select the fonts to use in your applications and desktop background.

OPTIONS

       The following options are supported:

       gnome-std-optionStandard options available for use with most GNOME applications. See gnome-std-options(5).
