How to remove a unix boot partition ?

it really has nothing to do with unix, so don't worry about being new
you need to check your hard drive to see if it is made by Western Digital (which more than likely it is). If so, there is a diagnostic utility you can get from westerndigital.com that you have to run against the hard drive to remove ALL of the unix stuff. once that is done, you should be able to load NT with no problem. Trust me, I found this out the hard way. Hope this helps.
