Getting specific files
Does this option allow for getting a specific file? What I am looking for is to ftp the log from the previous day that is in YYYYMMDD.log format. I don't wnat to use the mget and keep transfering the older logs as well.

hint : use 'atd' to schedule to run a specific script.
An Env Variable should be created,say CONF_DIR which points to some dir.

I'm using the following script to automated ftp files to 1 ftp servers

/usr/bin/ftp -vi >> $bkplog 2>&1 <<ftp

cd ${directory}
put $files

and the .netrc file contain
machine 192.168.0.1

NAME
xferlog2dlf - convert FTP logs in xferlog format to DLF format
SYNOPSIS
xferlog2dlf
DESCRIPTION
This script reads an FTP logfile in xferlog format. Most FTP servers use this format, among these are ProFTPD, WU-FTPD.
EXAMPLES
To process a log as produced in the xferlog format:
$ xferlog2dlf < ftp.log
xferlog2dlf will be rarely used on its own, but is more likely called by lr_log2report:
$ lr_log2report xferlog < /var/log/ftp.log
