Yesterday my customer told me to expect a vcs upgrade to happen in the future. He also plans to stop using HDS and move to EMC.
Am thinking how to migrate to sun cluster setup instead.
My plan as follows leave the existing vcs intact as a fallback plan.

When I put the following command :hastat -a to know the active node I have this message:"could not detect active node"

scds_free_port_list - free the port list memory
SYNOPSIS
cc [flags...] -I /usr/cluster/include file -L /usr/cluster/lib -l dsdev

void scds_free_port_list(scds_port_list_t *port_list
DESCRIPTION
The scds_free_port_list() function reclaims memory allocated during calls to scds_get_port_list(3HA). It deallocates the memory pointed to
by port_list.

port_list Pointer to a list of port-protocol pairs used by the resource group
