Ain't it possible to force dhcpd to NOT send any DHCP Offers on a specific interface?
I dont want dhcpd to answer on eth0 but do answer on eth1.

I need to get a script together to edit the dhcp service configuration file dhcpd.conf.
Mac addresses are defined in classes ex.
class "HOST1" { match if substring (hardware, 1,18)=00:11:11:FF:FF:FF;}

Hi,
I've installed Solaris 11.3(live media) and configured DNS. Everytime I reboot the server, resolv.conf got deleted and it created a new nsswitch.conf.
I used below to configure both settings:
# svccfg -s dns/client

dhclient.leases - DHCP client lease database DESCRIPTION
The Internet Software Consortium DHCP client keeps a persistent database of leases that it has acquired that are still valid. The data- base is a free-form ASCII file containing one valid declaration per lease. If more than one declaration appears for a given lease, the last one in the file is used. The file is written as a log, so this is not an unusual occurrance. The format of the lease declarations is described in dhclient.conf(5). FILES
