Since I'm mostly a Solaris SA, I don't know what the refresh command does but it seems to me that if you check the man page for refresh, you will find it tells the -s service (in this case inetd) to re-read it's configuration file and/or restart.
Next time post the OS/version along with your question. It helps.

is it ok for more than one inetd daemon running at a time?
if not okay, possible to kill the rest and make only one daemon running?

Hi,
I am having a wierd problem in one of the Solaris server.
root@ussd # uname -a
SunOS ussd 5.8 Generic_108528-24 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-280R
The problem is that terminal is not refreshing when we run commands like
prstat, tail -f "some log file", sar -u 1 10

I think it would be good if the page is auto-refreshed after some duration.
generally I do a manual reload/refresh from browser to get the new post/updates.

I am using Unix, I have added below in the .profile to change my prompt value.
PS1=`logname`@`hostname`:$PWD#
The problem is, after changing the directory, path is not being refreshed. Is there anything wrong?

ktkt_warnd is a daemon on Kerberos clients that can warn users when their Kerberos tickets are about to expire. It is invoked by inetd when
a ticket-granting ticket (TGT) is obtained for the first time, such as after using the kinit command. ktkt_warnd can be configured through
the /etc/krb5/warn.conf file on the client. In warn.conf, you can specify that you be supplied notice, through syslog, of ticket expira-
tion.
