Okay so I'm making a simple text based game that branches into different scenarios. By branching I mean branching off into whole different files with that part of the game in it. Hi Experts,
I am facing one problem here which is one process always stuck in running state which causes the other similar process to sleep state . This causes my system in hanged state.
On doing cat /proc/<pid>wchan showing the "__init_begin" in the output.

Realize the option of -p when using beadm that i can actually create another boot environment on another pool.
root@Unicorn6:~# beadm create -p mypool solaris-1

syscallbypid.d(1m) USER COMMANDS syscallbypid.d(1m) NAME
syscallbypid.d - syscalls by process ID. Uses DTrace. SYNOPSIS
syscallbypid.d DESCRIPTION
This reports the number of each type of system call made by PID. This is useful to identify which process is causing the most system calls. This is based on a script from DExplorer. Since this uses DTrace, only users with root privileges can run this command. EXAMPLES
This samples until Ctrl-C is hit. # syscallbypid.d FIELDS
PID process ID CMD process name SYSCALL system call name COUNT number of system calls made in this sample DOCUMENTATION
