Carreer:Networking Programming in Unix (C programming Language)
Hello,
I am trying to learn Networking Programming in C in unix enviorment. I want to know how good it is to become a network programmer. i am crazy about Network programming but i also want to opt for the best carreer options. Anybody experienced Network Programmer, please tell me is my decision with Networking Programming a good one or.... i also want to know how far network programming is successful on windows platform.

NAME
gnome-network-preferences - configure network proxy
SYNOPSIS
gnome-network-preferences [gnome-std-options]
DESCRIPTION
The Network Proxy preference tool enables you to configure how your system connects to networks. You can configure the desktop to connect
to a proxy server, and specify the details of the proxy server. A proxy server is a server that intercepts requests to another server, and
fulfills the request itself, if it can. You can enter the Domain Name Service (DNS) name or the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the proxy
server.
OPTIONS
The following options are supported:
gnome-std-optionStandard options available for use with most GNOME applications. See gnome-std-options(5).
EXAMPLES
Example 1: Launching the Network Proxy preference tool
