I am responsible for administering 6 Tru64UX servers.
I need to keep an eye on all the commands executed by all the users.
Is there a way where I can save the commands executed in a seperate folder and then keep checking the list every now and then.

I have a typical scenario here in which several users have access to a particular login .. say "build".
None of the users know the passwd for this login.
The name of some of the user have been to .rhosts file.

I need my for loop to do 2 things at a time. I have a script where I move the old files into archive directory and then i want to compress them. Presently I am using 2 for loops for it. How can i do it in 1 for loop.

I need help from the experts. I have been given a FTP server script that runs all day, looking for files that are FTP'd to our machines. Its hoaky I know, but there are times that files are sent but somehow get lost. Is there a logfile I can view to see when files are received?

Now for succesful startup of the service i need to search pattern1 in log A and pattern2 in log B which are writen continuosly.

helix [-display host:display.screen] [-foreground color] [-background color] [-window] [-root] [-mono] [-erase-speed usecs] [-erase-mode integer] [-delay seconds] [-install] [-visual visual] DESCRIPTION
The helix program draws interesting patterns composed of line segments in random colors. OPTIONS
helix accepts the following options: -window Draw on a newly-created window. This is the default. -root Draw on the root window. -mono If on a color display, pretend we're on a monochrome display. -erase-speed usecs This controls the speed at which the screen will be erased. Lower numbers erase faster. -erase-mode integer This sets the erase mode. Mode -1 chooses a random mode each time. There are currently 6 modes defined (0-5). -delay seconds This sets the number of seconds that the helix will be on the screen. -subdelay microseconds This sets the amount of time to pause periodically while drawing. -install Install a private colormap for the window. -visual visual Specify which visual to use. Legal values are the name of a visual class, or the id number (decimal or hex) of a specific visual. ENVIRONMENT
