Banning IP's

Hi all,
I need to be able to ban certain IP's from my website. It's on a UNIX server,(from my hosting company info... "our Linux servers run a customized version of Red Hat")
I am told there is a fairly simple method of doing this? Once I go past FP2000, I am pretty clueless.

Somehow someone created a file named '-ov' in the root directory.
Given the name, the how was probably the result of some cpio command they bozo'ed.
I've tried a number of different ways to get rid of it using * and ? wildcards, '\' escape patterns etc.. They all fail with " illegal option --... (3 Replies)

zemberek-server is a Java(TM) based ``Turkish'' spell checker daemon which listens a configured port (by default, 10444) for client connec- tions and responds with the Turkish spell checked output in a server-client fashion. zemberek-server uses Zemberek, a Java(TM) based Turk- ish NLP library, at its heart.
