removing package.
i am in d process of buidling qmail on my freebsd. I am through except that i cannot run qmailctl effectively because i had a problem installing daemontools. i was unable to run this command line;
patch < /usr/local/src/netqmail−1.04/other−patches/daemontools−0.76.errno.patch
and i beleive thats becos the source i installed is qmail-1.03 not netqmail. So i couldnt find the full path above.
I went ahead to run package/install, but then my svscan will not run, even after rebooting.
So i want to remove the daemontools package. But i dont know what command line to run to do this.
I use freebsd 5.1

NAME
qmail-control - qmail configuration files
INTRODUCTION
You can change the behavior of the qmail system by modifying qmail's control files in /var/lib/qmail/control.
qmail can survive with just one control file, me, containing the fully-qualified name of the current host. This file is used as the
default for other hostname-related control files.
Comments are allowed in badmailfrom, locals, percenthack, qmqpservers, rcpthosts, smtproutes, and virtualdomains. Trailing spaces and tabs
are allowed in any control file.
The following table lists all control files other than me. See the corresponding man pages for further details.
