XTerm has garbled font
On my Yellow Dog Linux/PPC system, any XTerm, regardless of whether it be local or remote, displays a garbled font. When I change the font using the -fn option, XTerm displays a different garbled font. I have had no trouble running any other applications on this computer's X server, nor have I had any problems using the XTerm on this computer from any other X server. This problem seems to be independent of the desktop environment or window manager I use.

When I telnet (ssh) over to my Fedora system, I find the colors horrible. For instance, regular files are white text, which is fine, but directories show up as dark blue which is virtually invisible against the black background).        seticons - sets the icon images used in Window Maker

SYNOPSIS

       seticons iconsfile

DESCRIPTION

       seticons  reads  iconsfile  and  writes its contents to the WMWindowAttributes domain, efectively setting the icons Window Maker uses for a

ENVIRONMENT

       GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT
