how to write a program that receive a string from keyboard and then print it out. i write a program:
main()

char str;
gets(str);
printf(str);
}
but when i compile it, the system said something like "new line is not last charicter" and sometime the system said "a3.c is up to date"... (1 Reply)

i really have an issue with the otherwise outstading FreeBSD Handbook when it comes to kernel building. information on the proper steps to take is really confusing. i think that chapters 9 and 21 need to be combined to give a very concise format on how best to deal with kernel building/rebuidling... I installed the patch: DUV40F16-C0040500-10245-Manual-20010328 to avoid a reboot problem in my server, AlphaServer 4100 with Tru64 4.0F.
When the patch instalation finished I rebuild the kernel like this:

WWW::Mechanize::Link - Link object for WWW::Mechanize
SYNOPSIS
Link object to encapsulate all the stuff that Mech needs but nobody wants to deal with as an array.
Constructor
new()
my $link = WWW::Mechanize::Link->new( {

For compatibility, this older interface is also supported:
new( $url, $text, $name, $tag, $base, $attr_href )
Creates and returns a new "WWW::Mechanize::Link" object.
Accessors
$link->url()
URL from the link
$link->text()
Text of the link
$link->name()
NAME attribute from the source tag, if any.
$link->tag()
Tag name (one of: "a", "area", "frame", "iframe" or "meta").
$link->base()
Base URL to which the links are relative.
$link->attrs()
Returns hash ref of all the attributes and attribute values in the tag.
$link->URI()
Returns the URL as a URI::URL object.
$link->url_abs()
Returns a URI::URL object for the absolute form of the string.
