i got some questions :)

Hi!
Im new to all this but the computer club im in has unix i think.
now my questions.

1.is it NTFS i need to partion the harddrive with to be able to use unix?

2.Unix and Linux whats the diffrense?yes im a noob got no idea been using crap windows for ages and hate it.

3.I got a win98 computer and a old computer where i wanna use linux or something so i can use Tiny Fugue(SSH client) to be able to MUD Smilie

the people at my local comp.store said that i could use win98 comp with 2 network cards and have my ADSL into one of them and a twisted TP cable from that comp to the other one where i wanna use linux.

What program can i use to share internet on those computers?
ive read about Sygate but it seems not to suport Linux but i found this in the manual:

Client Machines:

Any TCP/IP client including Windows, BeOS, Mac, or Unix-based systems
New Power User Features:

New Sygate Home Network features geared toward power users include:

DNS Forwarding Support for Linux/Win2K clients
Multiple DNS Support with Auto-Switching Capabilities

what is that? anyone? Smilie

4.the MUD computer where i wanna use Linux is a P133mhz 100 so RAM 4 gig harddrive and a crap graphic card...MUD dont take much power so i dont need the newest computer but what version is adviced to use so i wont crash the comp cause of the version is to much for the small computer to handle?

Thanks for your time and i hope someone out there can answer my questions even tho they are kinda stupid for those who knows about it ....

Pierre
