Happy to know that pagespeed helping, I understand rewriting theme would take time, also testing on cross browser and devices. I think bootstrap affix plug-in can be used to top header navigation to hide the forum title say user scrolls more than 30px or height of navigation bar.

So far, I have completed making the home page more responsive (except for the forum stats at the top and the WOL box at the bottom, they still use scroll bars).

Wrote some PHP code today to make the Who Is Online (WOL) in the forums work properly with the new home page:

Arora is a lightweight, cross-platform web browser using the Qt 4.4 port of the WebKit layout engine. It is based on the demo browser application shipped with Qt demos. OPTIONS
