Do not directly write to the disk device after a pvcreate!
It is +5 years ago that I had access to an HP-UX box...
You might need vgscan to update some meta information in the volume group.

Reqmt: I am working on Sys 1 and passes a command to Sys2 using a utility which has ssh coded in it. Is there any way to get the process id of the command in Sys 2 from my Sys1 ? Note: The utility is not editable, so you cannot get it through it and I am not logged in in Sys2.

#kill PID
Process still present.
#kill -9 PID
Process still present, even after repeated attempt and waiting.
PPID becomes 1 which is the init process

Description
The program reports various items of information about a kernel file and the running system. It is also used to create a system configura-
tion file in the doconfig command.
Options
-b Create a boot command file for the current system disk. The program creates the appropriate and command files in These files can then
