Multics Systems Programmers Manual as of 1969-04-01, comprising 996 PDF Files
While working on my current "UNIX history project" I ran across this:
Jerry Saltzer created an online scanned copy of the Multics Systems Programmers' Manual (MSPM) in this directory.
Based on the 1969-04-01 MSPM, the repo comprising 996 PDF files.
In order to help preserver the MSPM, I have copied the archive here:

In order to contribute back to this honorable Multics effort, when I get a chance I will write a PHP program to extract the document numbers and titles from each file in the PDF archive and create dynamic HTML index to compliment the PDF files.
I have never programmed in Perl (insert laughter, mock, etc. here ____) - so I need a sort of "Programming in Perl" covering the basics.
I now have two Perl books, one is a 5 volume Unix resource kit, the other is "Mastering algorithms with Perl" - none of them explains how to produce "hello,... (11 Replies)

hello,
We are using Solaris 11.3 on SPARC T5-2. The below is the actual output from "zpool status" command. The disks were scrubed last week, but it says the scrub repaired on Dec 31, 1969.
Does anyone know how to correct this to report the correct date?
Thanks

WebService::CIA::Parser - Parse pages from the CIA World Factbook
SYNOPSIS
use WebService::CIA::Parser;
my $parser = WebService::CIA::Parser->new;
my $data = $parser->parse($string);
DESCRIPTION
WebService::CIA::Parser takes a string of HTML and parses it. It will only give sensible output if the string is the HTML for a page whose
URL matches "https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/print/[a-z]{2}.html"
This parsing is somewhat fragile, since it assumes a certain page structure. It'll work just as long as the CIA don't choose to alter
their pages.
METHODS
"new"
Creates a new WebService::CIA::Parser object. It takes no arguments.
"parse($html)"
Parses a string of HTML take from the CIA World Factbook. It takes a single string as its argument and returns a hashref of fields and
values.
The values are stripped of all HTML. "<br>" tags are replaced by newlines.
It also creates four extra fields: "URL", "URL - Print", "URL - Flag", and "URL - Map" which are the URLs of the country's Factbook
page, the printable version of that page, a GIF map of the country, and a GIF flag of the country respectively.
EXAMPLE
use WebService::CIA::Parser;
use LWP::Simple qw(get);
$html = get(
"https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/print/uk.html"
);
$parser = WebService::CIA::Parser->new;
$data = $parser->parse($html);
print $data->{"Population"};
