Likely you are seeing an IP alias, that's why you have two ip's on the same adapter.
Now, as to two adapters with same IP, one could be disconnected at the physical layer.
**EDIT again. You can assign an IP to the ETherChannel adapter, and then the parent adapter. But its not a good way to go about it. That actually looks like what is happening here. Or someone tried to remove a backup adapter from the EtherChannel and gave it the IP.
How can I see where the alias IP is configured?

But I not yet find out where the alias IP (either 10.176.x.65 or 10.176.x.127) is configured.
I need to delete a TTY in my AIX 4.3 system. I have tried using the smit but everytime I try it, there is a message telling me that the device is in use and cannot be changed. How do I take the device "offline", so to speak, so that I can edit the settings and/or delete it.

How can I find out which is ETH5 on my AIX P5 system. I have about seven different NIC card on this. I did move the cable to each one but still I was not able to see the link light up when I did netstat -v

I couldn't install my nic in solaris 10. I compiled and added

In my system I have two NIC (eth0, eth1) and I have a bond0 ( eth0, eth1).
Here is the question? Which device should I modify ?
eth0 and eth1? or just modify bond0 or modify all device (eth0, eth1, bond0)

NIC port is down on IBM Frame. From the back its slot C7/C8. The network switch is the problem, and a new switch will be coming into play. There's one VIO and one LPAR.

I have Xubuntu 18.04 installed on my PC. I have created a 10G .img image file created by QEMU-IMG. I have installed inside of it Solaris 9 SPARC edition . If I try and mount the image file as a loop device (using sudo losetup /dev/loop0 /path-to-img-file) I can only mount it as read only.

vde_l3 - Virtual Distributed Ethernet 'Layer 3' Switch.
SYNOPSIS
vde_l3 -v vde_plug:ipaddress/netmask [-v...] [-r target_network/netmask:gateway] [-G default_gw] [-M mgmt_socket]
DESCRIPTION
A vde_l3 connects to one or more vde_switches, performing ip forwarding among its virtual interfaces. A new interface is created at startup
for each -v option given at command line. Static routes to target networks can be defined using the -r option.
vde_l3 -v /var/run/s1.ctl:192.168.0.1/24
connects to the vde sock at /var/run/s1.ctl with its virtual interface ve0, having the address 192.168.0.1 and netmask 255.255.255.0.
