I think that chroot wants /bin/bash or /bin/sh relative to /mnt i.e. /mnt/bin/bash or /mnt/bin/sh.
It only makes sense if it hold the OS.
But your /dev/md2 is not the OS disk (it looks like a /boot disk). Try to mount /dev/md3 instead (umount first).
