I use a tiling window manager i3wm evry where.
if only console is available then I just use tmux+ranger+vim+w3m
and this is no worse. I have increased the font size.

i just tryed to install solaris 10.. it installed fine.. but when i restarted it and tried to use it.. i get a message that says: The X server cannot be started on display :0...

I am a newb linux user. And i am running suse 9.3 pro.
When i first installed it a couple of days ago, it booted into the desktop
fine the first four or five times.
And not when i turn on my computer and boot linux and loads the devices, then it prompts me...

byobu-select-backend [screen|tmux]
DESCRIPTION
byobu-select-backend is an application that lists the available Byobu backends and allows you to select your default.
You can select one of either screen(1) or tmux(1) on the command line, or giving no command line parameters, the utility will run interac-
tively.
This utility will only affect which backend is used by default when simply running, byobu(1). Note that at any time, you can force the
backend of a particular session by running the helpers, byobu-screen(1) or byobu-tmux(1).
