I would like to copy data from local mechine to cluster. Basically, I typed
scp -r DVD/ acount@cluster:/
it shows Permission denied.
Could anyone please give me a clue to write permission on cluster, please?
The poperty of where on cluster I'd like to put is drwxr-xr-x

Whenever I try to open xterm, below error loops in itself
adroit:/home/seo/hitendra/.dt 32> xterm &

I created a user so that when he logs in he will be directed to a menu

Hi all,
I have to test some user priviliges. The goal is to be sure that an unauthorized user can't restart some modules (ssh, mysql etc...).
I'm trying to automate it with a shell script but in same cases I got the syslog broadcast message.

Hello
I have simple line of code here:
FILE *lockfp = fopen("/var/lock/subsys/processName", "w");
which is denied even running as root. The result is
locking failed for the following reason: Permission denied
How is this possible? Why is this happening?

removable_context(5) SELinux configuration removable_context(5)
NAME
removable_context - The SELinux removable devices context configuration file
DESCRIPTION
This file contains the default label that should be used for removable devices that are not defined in the media file (that is described in
selabel_media(5)).
selinux_removable_context_path(3) will return the active policy path to this file. The default removable context file is:
/etc/selinux/{SELINUXTYPE}/contexts/removable_context
Where {SELINUXTYPE} is the entry from the selinux configuration file config (see selinux_config(5)).
FILE FORMAT
The file consists of a single line entry as follows:
user:role:type[:range]
Where:
user role type range
A user, role, type and optional range (for MCS/MLS) separated by colons (:) that will be applied to removable devices.
EXAMPLE
# ./contexts/removable_contexts
system_u:object_r:removable_t:s0
