P86sendmail starts the sendmail (email) server. If you chose mmdf for your mail carrier when you installed the VM then it is not necessary.
You will have to view/read the other two to find out what they do.

mailto.conf - configuration file for cups email notifier
DESCRIPTION
The mailto.conf file defines the local mail server and email notification preferences for CUPS.
Each line in the file can be a configuration directive, a blank line, or a comment. Comment lines start with the # character.

Specifies an additional recipient for all email notifications.

Specifies the sender of email notifications.
Sendmail sendmail command and options
