I have bash ../usr/bin/bash
How does the script where does it take the input file and where does it write the output and in what format.. sorry for the questions, I am trying to understand as to how the script works.

I'm trying to send extended ascii characters to my HP2055 as part of PCL printer control codes. What I want to do is select a bar code font, print the bar code and reset the printer to the default font.

Description
The routine deletes the character under the cursor in the default window. All characters to the right on the same line are moved to the
left one position and the last character on the line is filled with a blank. The cursor position does not change.
