Specify disk (enter its number): 0

create state database replicas:

metadb -a c2t4d0s3 c2t5d0s3 c2t6d0s3

Now create metadevices using metainit and metaattach:

metainit d20 1 1 c2t4d0s6
metattach d20 c2t5d0s36
metattach d20 c2t6d0s6

Now check metadevice and which physical disks are being used:

metastat -p d20

Now create a UFS file system on this metadevice:

newfs /dev/md/rdsk/d20

Create a mount point:

mkdir /data2

Permissions:

Code:
chmod 755 /data2

mount the M.P.

Code:
mount /dev/md/dsk/d20 /data2


This is how I am planning to do, please is anything wrong or missing

Metadevices in mirroring ?
