I'm not a HP-UX expert but I believe you are correct (it's a common problem) and I have heard this one before. I believe it's a issue (bug) with the checkinstall script. However, I don't know the fix.

Need Script to Use CPUs on a HPUX server to simulate Workload Manager on HPUX.

I am running HPUX and using WLM (workload manager). I want to write a script to fork CPUs to basically take CPUs from other servers to show that the communication is working and CPU licensing is working. Basically, I want to build a script that will use up CPU on a server. Any ideas? (2 Replies)

The niash.conf file is meant for future configuration options. Empty lines and lines starting with a hash mark (#) are ignored. Currently no configuration options exist. FILES
