Python soap and string to .xlsx conversion
Hi experts -
I'm relatively new to python, but I have an requirement to automate getting a file from a WebLib server using an API.
The file I'm requesting from this sever is an excel spreadsheet (.xlsx).
I get a valid response back via an xml doc from the server.
In this xml file I get back, within a tag pair a very long string that is supposed to represent the .xlsx file I'm requesting.
My problem is, I don't know how to convert this string back into an .xlsx so that I can look at its content.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to convert this “string” back into an excel document?
Thanks

Does anyone have any insight on how to convert this "string" into an excel document in python?
I would be happy with a good website I can research on python soap/api binary downloads.
Thanks!
