@Corona688, According to my script i have to redirect the various output to different files, so i have given the logfiles name explicitly. I will consider to use $$ PID in my logfiles.
When multiple files are involved I often do /tmp/$$-loggerdata, /tmp/$$-output2, and so forth. Don't forget to delete them when no longer needed or you'll have a mess.
This would be far better than just making exclusion, you'll be improving the usability of your program and removing a lot of potholes.

I am looking for the syntax to check which ID is executing script.sh. If the the ID, is not user1 then I want the script to exit and return to command prompt, if it is user1, then I want the script to continue. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

script - make record of a terminal session
SYNOPSIS
script [-a] [filename]
DESCRIPTION
The script utility makes a record of everything printed on your screen. The record is written to filename. If no file name is given, the
record is saved in the file typescript. See WARNINGS.
The script command forks and creates a sub-shell, according to the value of $SHELL, and records the text from this session. The script ends
when the forked shell exits or when Control-d is typed.
OPTIONS
The following option is supported:
-a Appends the session record to filename, rather than overwriting it.
