AIX and Value too large to be stored in data type.

while moving a file sized 9GB i got this message

bkp_14JUN16_oraapp_2.tgz: Value too large to be stored in data type.

possibly need APAR Fix IY68126: MV COMMAND SHOWS EOVERFLOW ERROR FOR LARGE FILES


I tried to untar and unzip and nothing happens when I enter the command,
just exits to command prompt

so i went to check tar

nothing happened... seems like tar was not working,\

reinstalled tar and it failed

Hi, I am trying to fetch sysname and nodename using struct utsname. I have two HP-UX servers on with 10 characters and other with 13 characters host name.
