Suppose I have a unix file which contain a lost of 60 files like

I want to write a unix script that will pick up first 10 files in first run
10-20 files in 2 run
20-30 files in 3 run
30-40 files in 4 run
40-50 files in 5 run

I have a requirement of checking the current system time and performing certain actions in a shell script. example:
if the current system time is greater than 1400 hrs, then perform step 1,2,3
if the current system time is greater than 1000 hrs, then perform step 1,2

i am using function
gethrtime() in sun solaries
to get the time independent of the system time.Problem with this function is if we restart the system time will change to '0'.is there any other way to resolve this problem.

SYNOPSIS
oarnodes [ -a | -s | -r <integer> | --sql <sql_properties> | -l | -h | -V ] [<list of nodes>] [ -e [<date>] | -X | -Y | -D ]
DESCRIPTION
Display information about the nodes managed by OAR.
OPTION -a, --all
Show all resources with their properties.
-r, --resource
Show only the resource whose id is given as parameter with its properties.
-s, --state
Show the states of the resources.
-l, --list
Show the nodes list.
-e, --events
Print events related to a node: either since the date given as parameter or the last 20.
--sql
Select the resources which match the SQL where clause given as parameter (e.g. "state = 'Suspected'") and display them.
-D, --DUMPER
Print result in Perl Data::Dumper format.
